Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS PGP AND WHO IS INVITED?

PGP is a Post Graduation Party that has been a tradition in Wilton since 1988. This event is hosted by Wilton Youth Council Class Projects and inclusive of all 2024 graduates living in the town of Wilton regardless of what school they attend.

WHEN IS PGP?

PGP will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Check-in will take place at the Clune Center at Wilton High School between 10:00 - 10:30 pm. Buses will return to Wilton High School between 4:30 - 5:00 am.

WHAT DOES PGP OFFER?

PGP offers our Wilton graduates the opportunity to celebrate together prior to heading off to their next adventure and was designed to offer a safe and secure substance-free night. Activities at Chelsea Piers include ice skating, rock climbing, parkour and trampolines, batting cages, karaoke, plenty of food, entertainment, and more!

WHERE IS PGP HELD?

The all-night event takes place at Chelsea Piers in Stamford. Chelsea Piers offers an awesome and fun-filled night where experienced and enthusiastic staff and parent volunteers will be on hand to oversee and lead a variety of sports and other fun activities, with student safety as a top priority.

I DON’T KNOW IF MY CHILD WILL GO.

Historically, 90% of the graduating class attends PGP. They may not know it now, but they will want to go! Everyone has a place at PGP. The nostalgia, excitement and opportunity to be together as a class one last time encourages students who may have drifted apart to reconnect, just as they are about to move on.

WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND?

A ticket for every senior is required to attend. This includes food and beverages, music, games and entertainment throughout the night. The cost of all-inclusive admission is $124.00 per person. We are able to keep this cost down due to the success of earlier fundraising activities. There are no other entry fees or tickets. Financial assistance is available if needed and kept in strict confidence.

HOW DO I REQUEST FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?

If you need financial assistance, please contact Sarah Heath, Director of Wilton Social Services, at sarah.heath@wiltonct.org, 203-834-6238, or Chandra Ring, Wilton Youth Council Executive Director, at cring@wiltonyouth.org.

WHERE DOES OUR DONATION GO?

Your donations and all ticket proceeds fund the party! What you may not know is how many of our budget items are fixed costs from year to year. Over 75% of our budget goes towards food, gifts/ prize draw and entertainment -  these are the very things that keep the students engaged.
